BIOGRAPHY
Raging Hormones started back in February
of 2003 and since then have played to 1000's of people and with
bands like Mad Caddies, Suburban Legends, Never Heard Of It,
MU330, I Voted 4 Kodos, Anything
But Joey, Pomeroy, and many others. The band's sound is rooted in
the 3rd wave ska of the mid 90s bands like Reel Big Fish and Less
Than Jake mixed with modern influences from a variety of sources.
The band has won 5 battle of the bands and released a debut CD
in 2005 called "Sunrise Over Memory Lane".
ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
*on June 3rd, 2004 played Old Shawnee Days, a 4 day carnival that
featured Mark Farner (lead singer of Grand Funk Railroad), The
Drifters, and more
*have won 5 battle of the bands
*have received radio airplay on 96.5
The Buzz and premium1000.com
*participated in 2003 and 2004's Rock For Hope at Shawnee Mission West, which
raised over $5000 for various charities. Estimated attendance was
above 1000.
*have raised money for Salvation Army and other charities
*voted #1 by the audience at the Blue Valley Northwest Battle Of
The Bands (March 28th, 2003)
*have toured and played in Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Iowa, Colorado,
Indiana, Tennessee, Wyoming
*have played at several venues such as Ranch Bowl, El Torreon, Spitfire,
Bottleneck, The
Conveyor, Benders, High Jinks, and more.
*have been #1 on the both the Ska and Latin Jazz charts for several
days on www.soundclick.com
